At Rustic Colours & Co, our goal is to provide a calming environment along with the finest salon experience possible.

To safeguard our salon, staff, and clients, we have implemented the following policies, ensuring that everything operates seamlessly and that your visit is truly memorable.

 

Booking Policy

When booking an appointment with Rustic Colours & Co, we will need specific identifiable information from you. This may include your full name and contact number. We utilize this information within our secure booking system to schedule your appointment, send reminders, or reach out to you regarding your upcoming visit.

 

Booking Fee

Rustic Colours & Co may require a booking fee to secure and confirm your appointment.

This fee applies to various services, including but not limited to new client colour appointments, colour corrections, vivid colours, and hair extension services. The booking fee must be paid at the time of booking and will be deducted from the total service cost on the day of your appointment.

If you provide more than 48 hours' notice, the booking fee can be transferred. However, it becomes non-refundable within 24 hours of your appointment. In the event of a cancellation or no-show within 24 hours, your booking fee will be utilized to compensate for the lost time. By paying the booking fee, you are committing to the scheduled appointment. Should you need to reschedule, a new booking fee will be required.

Booking Fees:

  • New colour clients: $50

  • Existing colour clients who have no-showed or cancelled within 24 hours: $100 ($50 retained for the previous appointment, $50 used as a deposit for the next)

  • Colour correction: $100

  • Vivid colour: $100

  • Hair extension new install: 50% of the total cost

  • Weft move up: $50

Appointment Times

When you schedule an appointment with Rustic Colours & Co, we dedicate that time exclusively for you. We kindly ask you to be considerate regarding your appointment.

Arriving on time is essential to ensure you receive the complete service you booked.

If you find yourself running late, please inform us. We will do our utmost to accommodate you, but please understand that it may be necessary to reschedule your appointment or shorten the service you were originally scheduled for.

 

Confirmation Texts

Rustic Colours & Co provides an SMS reminder service that notifies you two days before your appointment. When you receive this text, please reply with ‘YES’ to confirm your scheduled time. If you need to cancel or reschedule, feel free to call or message us at 0458470546, or reach out via our Facebook page.

In the absence of a response, we will attempt to contact you again. If we still don't hear from you, we reserve the right to cancel any unconfirmed appointments by the close of business the day before your scheduled time.

 

Cancellation and No-Show Policy

At Rustic Colours & Co, we dedicate your appointment exclusively to you. We kindly ask that you show courtesy and respect by notifying us as soon as possible if you cannot make it. A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for cancellations, allowing us sufficient time to fill your slot.

Additionally, please inform us well in advance of any significant changes to your scheduled services.

Clients who do not show up may be asked to pay a cancellation fee of up to 50% of their booked service. They may also be asked for a deposit for future appointments or may be restricted from booking additional services.

 

Pricing & Payment Methods

Salon prices can differ based on the specific service or individual providing it. For precise pricing, we encourage you to schedule a complimentary in-salon consultation before your appointment. Our team will also strive to provide a quote for your service prior to starting.

Our pricing reflects the quality of the professional products we use, the facilities we offer, as well as the experience and training of our staff.

Payments for all services can be made via EFTPOS, cash, or bank transfer. Please note that we do not accept cheques.

 

Privacy Policy

Rustic Colours & Co is committed to safeguarding the privacy and confidentiality of your personal information while ensuring adherence to all applicable legislative and regulatory standards. Our goal is to protect and uphold the privacy and security of your personal data in alignment with the privacy act.

 

Refund & Client Satisfaction Policy

At Rustic Colours & Co, we are dedicated to conducting a comprehensive consultation before beginning your service. Additionally, we can provide a quote prior to the start of your service.

Miscommunication between the stylist and client can sometimes lead to an unsatisfactory outcome. If this happens, please inform Rustic Colours & Co within 7 days of your original appointment so we can address any concerns.

Your satisfaction is our top priority. Once we receive your notification, we will invite you back to the salon for an in-person discussion, as photographs may not capture all the necessary details. We are committed to making any necessary corrections. If we determine that the issue was due to our error and cannot be fixed, we will then consider offering a monetary refund. However, if the situation is a matter of a change of mind, we regret to inform you that we cannot provide a monetary refund, and there will be a charge for any adjustments to your cut or colour.

Please note, services performed at Rustic Colours & Co will not have any guarantees if you are not using the recommended professional products. This no-refund policy also extends to gift cards.

 

Right To Refuse Service Policy

Rustic Colours & Co reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who is behaving inappropriately, appears intoxicated, or whose condition may affect the outcome of the service. Additionally, we may decline service if, after a comprehensive consultation, we are unable to anticipate the effects a service might have on you or your hair.

 

Product Exchange Policy

We strongly suggest utilizing professional products to enhance your hair's health and maintain your colour.

At Rustic Colours & Co, if you find that you are dissatisfied with the products after 2-3 washes, you have the option to exchange them for another product of equal value. Alternatively, depending on the situation, we may offer a monetary refund or store credit, subject to management approval.

Please note that this policy does not apply to electrical styling tools, as their warranties are provided by the respective manufacturers.

 

Gift Voucher Policy

In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, gift certificates and vouchers have a validity period of three years from the date of purchase. These gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, and no change will be given if they are not fully utilized in a single transaction. However, they can be used over multiple visits within the expiry period.

Please treat gift vouchers like cash, as the physical voucher must be presented for redemption in the salon. Rustic Colours & Co is not obligated to replace any lost vouchers.

 

Service Disclaimer

Rustic Colours & Co is committed to conducting a comprehensive consultation and taking all necessary steps to ensure your safety and achieve the best possible results for your hair. While we trust in our expertise and the products we utilize, unexpected situations can occasionally arise.

It is essential for you to inform us if you have:

  • Been exposed to or swum in chlorine

  • Used any form of natural hair colour, particularly Henna

  • Tried any supermarket products such as shampoo, conditioner, styling products, or box dye

  • Started new medication

  • Experienced significant dietary changes

  • Any other factors that could significantly impact your colour (e.g., surgeries, hormonal changes)

Hair colours and lighteners, along with other chemicals we may apply, can react to any chemical or metal agents present in your hair. Although we follow strict guidelines concerning colour, lighteners, and chemicals, we cannot predict every possible outcome, and it’s not feasible to inquire about each potential issue. If you do not disclose what may be in your hair, you could face consequences such as hair breakage, chemical burns, or unwanted colour results.

All our stylists are dedicated to ensuring your happiness and satisfaction. At Rustic Colours & Co, we will do our utmost to make sure you leave our salon with beautiful, healthy hair every time you visit.
